A former registered nurse, Karen Jones brings a rich perspective to her legal practice, including valuable insights on health care as it pertains to professional discipline, medical negligence and health law.
Before becoming a lawyer, Karen travelled widely and worked in a variety of fields, from construction to investigations to politics and community activism. As counsel, she has appeared before numerous administrative tribunals, and all levels of court, at inquests, and at public inquiries. Karen has been deeply involved in managing the ediscovery process in large and complicated cases and in working with counsel and clients to identify and implement the effective and appropriate use of technology in litigation.
